Richard Vigne has over thirty-two years of experience managing and performing Nondestructive Testing and Quality Control . His expertise and field experience includes specialized applications utilizing computer enhanced imaging systems as well as conventional NDT inspection applications. He has been assigned as NIC’s management representative at numerous field sites. His experience has been in the Aircraft and Aerospace, Nuclear, CoGeneration Power, Petro Chemical, Metals Fabrication, Steel making and Construction industries. He currently holds Level III (ASNT) Certifications in Magnetic Particle and Liquid Penetrant disciplines, Corporate Level III Certifications in Ultrasonic, Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant and Visual inspection; ANSI N45.2.6 Level III Certifications in five inspection disciplines and is a Certified Weld Inspector by the American Welding Society. He is also certified by the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) for the Detection and Planar Flaw Sizing of Intergranular Stress Corrosion Cracking utilizing the Ultrasonic Testing Method.

As Manager of NDE Services, Mr. Vigne has the responsibility for the selection, certification, placement and management of personnel and NDE field inspection activities. He has supervised as many as 125 individuals supporting all technical, administrative and logistical issues.
